Eduardo has better dreams

By Randy Osae

Yes we can!

A wildly optimistic Eduardo will cheer on the Gunners from the stands on Saturday.

The 25-year-old is limited to activity on the sidelines due to a short-term groin injury he sustained on Wednesday night.

But he is maintaining positive belief that Arsenal could perhaps finish where they did last season.

The Croatian is among some boosting returns of injured key men and insists that welcoming back the rest of the best can see Arsenal leap-frog more sides than just Aston Villa.

“What is important is that we are defending well and the performances are coming,” he said.

“There are a lot of great players coming back now – Walcott, Fabregas, Tomas Rosicky and Adebayor – and it will be okay.

“I think we can be in the top three in the Premier League.”

  1. Our recent encouraging performance coupled with the return of the injured players is like seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

  2. The players will be a bit tired, but three points are a must if Arsenal are to keep up the pressure on Villa.

  3. Eduardo said,” i think we can be in the top three in the Premier League”. Hats off to Eduardo because he dares to dream.

  4. Soccer Blog, your concern about tiredness is justified but Wenger has the experience and know how to deal with situation like this.

  5. Randy, will you be posting the game tomorrow? Sorry I’ve been MIA and about our previous convo, been swamped with work and school.

  6. I agree the boy will be tired but look at who didn’t play this Wednesday.

    Lineup I’d like to see
    Sagna, Toure, Gallas, Gibbs
    AA, Nasri, Denilson, Theo

  7. USA – All I can say is maybe. I might miss the match. But I’ll try to fix things in.

  8. Good point, USA GUnner. Considering those players who did not play in Rome, tiredness should not be an issue.

  9. RVP needs a break. People said he had a bad game on wednesday although I tried all in my power to see it and in english.
My formation(unlikely wenger will do this)
    Sagna Gallas Toure Clichy
    WAlcott Denilson Diaby/song Nasri/Vela/Arshavin
